    Getting Started

    1 Attach Probe at the base front of the system.

    Probe cable extends right.

    2 Turn on system.

    The power is located on the upper left panel

    3 Press New Patient,

    enter name and ID number

    To exit: Press the Person Icon

    4 Press Preset,

    Select the desired exam on Touch Screen

    5 Press Probe,

    Select desired Probe on Touch Screen.

    Press Probe to exit

    Brightness

    Turn B Gain Knob:

    Clockwise: Brighter

    Counter-Clockwise: Darker

    Depth

    For a smaller image and more depth: Press toggle down

    For a larger image and less depth:

    Freeze

    Freezes the image. Press again to unfreeze.

    Measure

    Press Freeze

    Press the Caliper key,

    Press Enter

    to anchor the starting point.

    Trackball to end point of measurement. Number appears in box.

      MN2-2008 SECTION 2 PRECAUTIONS 2-1 Precautions Against Electrical Hazards to Serviceman When disassembling the equipment after checking it for a trouble symptom, give care to the following: Be sure to unplug the equipment before disassembly. Be sure to turn off the main switch on the equipment when removing electrical parts such as PCBs, probe, and cable.

Perfectness in grounding, screw tightening, and cover installation is essential. Negligence of it could cause a possibility of leakage current from outer fitting which may lead to serious damage to a patient being diagnosed.

Record the contents of the battery backup memory. After working, restore the equipment according to the above mentioned contents of memory if necessary.
