Цвета направляющих ремня

Чтобы лучше различать два автомобильных ремня, они выделены разными цветами. Диагональный ремень 16 светло-синего цвета, а поясной ремень 17 темно-синий. Направляющие ремней на детском сиденье окрашены в соответствующие цвета.

3. Разрешение на эксплуатацию

Модель Baby-Safe i-Size разрешается использовать только для закрепления ребенка в автомобиле.

ОСТОРОЖНО! Модель Baby-Safe i-Size разрешается использовать только для закрепления вашего ребенка в автомобиле. Она абсолютно не пригодна для использования в качестве сиденья или игрушки в домашних условиях.

ОПАСНО! Никогда не закрепляйте ребенка или детское сиденье одним 2-точечным ремнем. Если ребенок пристегнут в детском сиденье только 2-точечным ремнем, то в случае аварии он может получить тяжелые травмы или погибнуть.

4. Применение в автомобиле

Соблюдайте указания по использованию систем фиксации детей, приведенные в инструкции по эксплуатации вашего автомобиля.

В инструкции по эксплуатации вашего автомобиля найдите информацию об автомобильных сиденьях, которые допущены к использованию с системами фиксации детей в соответствии с ECE R16.

1. Ремень должен иметь разрешение на эксплуатацию в соответствие со стандартом ECE R 16 (или аналогичным стандартом), свидетельством чему является, например, буква E (e) в кружке на этикетке допуска на ремне
2. Фронтальная подушка безопасности должна быть деактивирована. Следуйте указаниям Руководства по эксплуатации автомобиля
3. Нельзя применять, если имеется только один 2-точечный ремень

5. Уход и техническое обслуживание

Используйте только оригинальные запасные чехлы для сидений Britax Römer, так как чехол сиденья является неотъемлемой составной частью детского сиденья и выполняет важные функции по обеспечению безупречного функционирования системы. Запасные чехлы для сиденья вы можете приобрести у вашего дилера.

• Пластмассовые детали можно очищать мыльным раствором. Не используйте агрессивные моющие средства (например, растворители)

ОПАСНО! Запрещается эксплуатация детского сиденья без чехла.

5.1. Снятие чехла

1. Снимите солнцезащитный козырек (см. раздел 8.5)
2. Откройте замок ремня 08 (нажав на красную кнопку)
3. Освободите кнопки плечевых накладок 06
4. Потяните вверх часть чехла подголовника, находящуюся под плечевым ремнем 07
5. Снимите чехол с подголовника 01 потянув вверх
6. Снимите пластмассовые детали под краем детского сиденья со всех сторон
7. Вытяните конец ремня 09 из чехла
8. Снимите чехол

Теперь чехол можно постирать. Соблюдайте указания по стирке, приведенные на этикетке чехла.

5.2. Демонтаж и очистка замка ремня

1. Откиньте детское сиденье назад
2. Проденьте металлическую пластинку 30, при помощи которой замок ремня закреплен на сиденье, ребром через паз для ремня 31
3. Положите замок ремня 08 не менее чем на 1 час в теплую воду с моющим средством. Затем промойте его и хорошо просушите

5.3. Установка замка ремня:

1. Проденьте металлическую пластинку 30 сверху вниз ребром через паз для ремня 31 в чехле и через сиденье. Учитывайте направление
2. Потяните с силой за замок ремня 08, чтобы проверить его крепление

5.4. Надевание чехла

Чтобы надеть чехол, выполните все действия в обратном порядке.

6. Демонтаж и утилизация

ДЕМОНТАЖ СИДЕНЬЯ:

1. Полностью вкрутите SICT 26 по часовой стрелке
2. Извлеките диагональный ремень 16 из светло-синего крепления 12
3. Откройте замок автомобильного ремня 18 и извлеките поясной ремень 17 из темно-синих направляющих 03

Теперь детское сиденье можно снять.

ОПАСНО! Детское сиденье всегда должно быть зафиксировано в автомобиле, даже если вы не везете в нем ребенка.

7. Указания по безопасности

Пожалуйста, внимательно прочитайте инструкцию и всегда держите ее при себе в предусмотренном для этого кармане 10 детского сиденья! При передаче детского сиденья третьим лицам к нему необходимо приложить данную инструкцию!

ОПАСНО! Для защиты вашего ребенка:

При дорожно-транспортном происшествии в результате столкновения или наезда на препятствие со скоростью свыше 10 км/ч детское сиденье может получить повреждения, которые не всегда видны невооруженным глазом. В этом случае детское сиденье необходимо заменить. Утилизацию поврежденного сиденья следует производить согласно предписаниям.

• Если детское сиденье было повреждено (например, если оно упало на пол), необходимо, чтобы его проверил специалист
• Регулярно проверяйте все важные детали на наличие повреждений. В частности, убедитесь, что все механические компоненты полностью исправны
• Никогда не смазывайте детали детского сиденья маслом или консистентной смазкой
• Никогда не оставляйте ребенка в установленном в автомобиле детском сиденье без присмотра
• Всегда пристегивайте находящегося в сиденье ребенка ремнем
• Не оставляйте ребенка в автомобильном детском сиденье на высоких поверхностях (например, на пеленальном столике, столе, диване) без присмотра
• Защищайте детское сиденье от воздействия прямых солнечных лучей (например, накройте легким платком), если оно не используется. Под воздействием прямых солнечных лучей сиденье сильно нагревается. Кожа ребенка очень чувствительна и может пострадать
• Чем плотнее ремень прилегает к телу вашего ребенка, тем лучше ребенок защищен. Поэтому старайтесь сделать так, чтобы под ремнем не было слишком толстого слоя одежды
• Детское сиденье не предназначено для длительного нахождения в нем ребенка. Полулежачее положение детского сиденья приводит к значительным нагрузкам на позвоночник ребенка. Следует как можно чаще вынимать ребенка из сиденья, делая перерывы во время длительных автомобильных поездок. Вынимайте ребенка из сиденья, если оно не зафиксировано в автомобиле
• Зафиксируйте спинки автомобильных сидений (например, откидное заднее сиденье)
• Не пытайтесь держать ребенка на руках или фиксировать его у себя на коленях с помощью ремня безопасности

ОПАСНО! Для защиты всех находящихся в автомобиле:

В случае экстренного торможения или столкновения незакрепленные предметы и непристегнутые пассажиры могут травмировать других людей, находящихся в автомобиле. Поэтому необходимо всегда следить за тем, чтобы:

• были зафиксированы все находящиеся в автомобиле тяжелые предметы или предметы с острыми кромками (например, на полке за задним сиденьем)
• все пассажиры были пристегнуты ремнями
• детское сиденье всегда было зафиксировано, даже если в нем не перевозится ребенок

ОСТОРОЖНО! Меры безопасности при обращении с детским сиденьем:

• Во избежание повреждений следите за тем, чтобы автомобильное детское сиденье не оказывалось зажатым между жесткими деталями конструкции автомобиля (дверь автомобиля, направляющими сидений и т. д.)
• Убедитесь, что нижний конец ремня нигде не зажат (например, дверями, эскалатором) падению детского сиденья
• Храните детское сиденье в защищенном месте, когда оно не используется. Не ставьте на сиденье тяжелые предметы и не храните его в непосредственной близости от источников тепла или под прямыми солнечными лучами

ВНИМАНИЕ! Для защиты вашего автомобиля:

• При использовании детского сиденья на автомобильных чехлах из восприимчивых к деформациям материалов (например, из велюра, кожи и т. п.) могут появиться потертости. Для оптимальной защиты ваших автомобильных чехлов мы рекомендуем использовать подкладку под детское сиденье Britax Römer из нашего набора принадлежностей

8. Применение

8.1 Регулировка ручки для переноски

Ручка для переноски 04 может быть зафиксирована в одном из трех
положений A, B, или C:

Положения ручки для переноски:

A — Для ношения и для использования в автомобиле
B — Для укладывания ребенка
C — Для устойчивого положения вне автомобиля

Регулировка положения ручки для переноски:

1. Нажмите и удерживайте одновременно обе кнопки 02, расположенные на ручке для переноски 04
2. Поворачивайте дугу 04 с нажатыми кнопками 02, пока она не будет установлена в необходимое положение
3. Отпустите кнопки 02 и убедитесь, что ручка для переноски 04 зафиксирована

8.2 Использование вкладыша

Используйте вкладыш, если ребенок еще очень маленький.

Использование вкладыша:

1. Откройте замок ремня 08 (нажав на красную кнопку)
2. Положите вкладыш 19 на сиденье. Часть, заполненная мягким наполнителем, должна быть направлена вниз
3. Установите нижнюю часть вкладыша под плечевые ремни 07. Убедитесь, что вкладыш 19 прилегает к спинке детского сиденья

8.3 Регулировка высоты плечевых ремней

Правильно установленный подголовник 01 обеспечивает оптимальную защиту вашего ребенка в детском сиденье. Подголовник 01 необходимо установить таким образом, чтобы выходные щели плечевых ремней 07 располагались ниже высоты плеча ребенка примерно на ширину двух пальцев (25 мм).

Регулировка плечевых ремней:

1. Откройте замок ремня 08 (нажав на красную кнопку)
2. Откройте карман для руководства 10 на задней стороне детского сиденья
3. Установите подголовник 01 в правильное положение, нажав на кнопку регулировки и сместив плечевые ремни 20. (Подголовник 01 необходимо установить таким образом, чтобы выходные щели плечевых ремней 07 располагались ниже высоты плеча ребенка примерно на ширину двух пальцев (25 мм)
4. Убедитесь, что кнопка регулировки плечевых ремней 20 зафиксирована правильно
5. Снова закройте карман для руководства 10

Ослабление плечевых ремней:

Нажмите кнопку регулировки натяжения 20 и одновременно вытяните оба плечевых ремня 07 вперед.

Натяжение плечевых ремней:

Потяните за конец ремня 09. Конец ремня 09 следует тянуть прямо, а не вверх или вниз.

8.4 Пристегивание ребенка

Модель Britax Römer Baby-Safe i-Size обеспечивает максимальную безопасность для вашего ребенка, если плечевые ремни максимально плотно прилегают к телу ребенка, не ограничивая его свободу движений.

Пристегивание ребенка

1. Ослабьте плечевые ремни 07 (как описано в разделе «8.3 Регулировка высоты плечевых ремней»)
2. Откройте замок ремня 08 (нажав на красную кнопку)
3. Проведите плечевые ремни 07 поверх плеч ребенка
   ОСТОРОЖНО! Не перекручивайте и не переставляйте плечевые ремни, в противном случае защитные функции будут нарушены
4. Сведите оба язычка замка 05 друг с другом
5. Зафиксируйте язычки замка 05 до щелчка
6. Натягивайте плечевые ремни 07, пока они не будут плотно прилегать к телу ребенка (как описано в разделе «8.3 Регулировка высоты плечевых ремней»)
   ОСТОРОЖНО! Поясные ремни должны проходить как можно глубже через пах ребенка

8.5 Применение тента от солнца

Солнцезащитный тент 28 защищает голову ребенка от солнца. Он легко раскладывается и складывается на ручке для переноски 04. Если солнцезащитный тент 28 необходимо снять или установить, выполните следующие действия:

Снятие солнцезащитного тента

1. Снимите солнцезащитный тент 28 с головной части детского сиденья. Для этого необходимо расстегнуть кнопки сбоку и снять эластичную окантовку
2. Снимите петли чехла 15 с обеих сторон ручки для переноски с крючков для солнцезащитного тента 14

Установка солнцезащитного тента

1. Повесьте петли чехла 15 слева и справа ручки для переноски на крючки для солнцезащитного тента 14
2. Протяните эластичную окантовку над головной частью края детского сиденья. Закрепите эластичную окантовку сбоку с помощью кнопок

9. Установка в автомобиле

Перед фиксацией детского сиденья в автомобиле ребенка необходимо закрепить в детском сиденье, как описано в разделе «8.4. Пристегивание ребенка»

ОПАСНО! Надувная подушка безопасности, входящая в соприкосновение с сиденьем, может стать причиной травмы или смерти ребенка. Не используйте детское сиденье на переднем сиденье с активированной передней подушкой безопасности! При наличии боковых подушек безопасности следуйте указаниям Руководства по эксплуатации автомобиля.

1. Выберите подходящее положение в автомобиле согласно таблице из раздела «4. Применение в автомобиле»
2. Установите детское сиденье на пассажирском сиденьи противдвижения (ребенок смотрит назад)
3. Проверьте, что ручка для переноски 04 находится в верхнем положении A
4. Вытяните автомобильный ремень и проведите его поверх сиденья
5. Зафиксируйте язычки 29 в замке автомобильного ремня 18
6. Вложите поясной ремень 17 в темно-синие направляющие ремня 03 пообеим сторонам сиденья.Не перекручивайте поясной ремень 17
7. Подтяните поясной ремень 17 путем натяжения диагонального ремня 16

1. Протяните диагональный ремень 16 за головную часть детского сиденья, над адаптером 13
2. Вставьте диагональный ремень 16 в крепление 12. Не перекручивайте автомобильный ремень
3. Натяните диагональный ремень 16
   ОПАСНО! Убедитесь, что замок автомобильного ремня 18 не находится в направляющей ремня 03 или не расположен таким образом, что он (по направлению движения) находится перед направляющей 03. Если замок автомобильного ремня 18 находится в направляющих ремня 03 или перед направляющими ремня 03, то установите детское сиденье на другое место. Если у вас возникнут вопросы по правильности установки сиденья, обратитесь продавцу
4. Выверните SICT 26 против часовой стрелки (со стороны двери автомобиля), пока он не окажется на расстоянии 5 мм от двери автомобиля или не выдвинется на максимальное расстояние. Вывернутый SICT 26 служит для дополнительной защиты от дорожно-транспортного происшествия в случае бокового столкновения

Чтобы обеспечить безопасность вашего ребенка, перед каждой поездкой проверяйте, что:

• детское сиденье закреплено и ориентировано против движения
• детское сиденье закреплено на переднем сиденье таким образом, что ему не угрожает столкновение с фронтальной подушкой безопасности
• сиденье закреплено с помощью 3-точечного ремня
• поясной ремень проходит через обе направляющие ремня 03 по сторонам детского сиденья
• диагональный ремень 16 проходит через крепление ремня 12
• замок автомобильного ремня 18 не находится в направляющей ремня 03 или перед ней
• автомобильный ремень туго натянут и не перекручен
• SICT 26 установлен и используется корректно

10. Использование совместно с коляской

Следуйте указаниям инструкции к детской коляске!

Детскоесиденье можно использовать в качестве Travel System на всех шасси детских колясок, разрешенных для использования с детскими сиденьями Britax Römer.

ОСТОРОЖНО! Эта Travel System не предназначена:

• для перевозки более чем одного ребенка
• для использования в коммерческих целях
• для использования в сочетании с другими шасси
• для использования вместо кроватки или колыбели. Сумки, детские и спортивные коляски должны использоваться только для транспортировки

ОСТОРОЖНО! Всегда пристегивайте ребенка в детском сиденье, убедитесь, что детское сиденье надежно зафиксировано на детской коляске. Для того чтобы поднять или переместить коляску, никогда не беритесь за детское сиденье. Всегда фиксируйте тормоз, прежде чем закрепить детское сиденье в коляске или вынуть его снова.

Установка детского сиденья на коляске

1. Зафиксируйте тормоз, как описано в инструкции к детской коляске
2. Подготовьте коляску для Travel System, как описано в инструкции (например, отрегулируйте детское сиденье, отцепите чехол)
3. Установите детское сиденье на детскую коляску против направления движения
   ОСТОРОЖНО! Ни в коем случае не пытайтесь закрепить детское сиденье в коляске в направлении движения
4. Защелкните язычки крепления 22 детского сиденья в пазах 23 по обеим сторонам. По обеим сторонам детского сиденья контрольные индикаторы 25 должны быть зелеными
   ОСТОРОЖНО! Убедитесь, что детское сиденье надежно соединено с детской коляской, потянув ручку для переноски 04 вверх

Снятие детского сиденья с коляски

1. Зафиксируйте тормоз, как описано в инструкции к детской коляске
2. Убедитесь, что ручка для переноски 04 находится в верхнем положении A (см. раздел «8.1 Регулировка ручки для переноски»)
3. Вытащите и удерживайте серую кнопку деблокировки 24
4. Поднимите детское сиденье так, чтобы язычки крепления 22 вышли из пазов 23 крепления
   ОСТОРОЖНО! При этом крепко удерживайте сиденье

CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Please ensure that you only use the original BRITAX RÖMER replacement seat covers, as the seat cover is an integral part of the child safety seat and fulfils important
functions to ensure the smooth operation of the system. Replacement seat covers
are available from your dealer.
• The plastic parts can be cleaned using soapy water. Do not use harsh cleaning
agents (such as solvents).

For better differentiation, the two vehicle seat
belts are highlighted in different colours. The
diagonal strap 16 in light blue and the lap belt
17 in dark blue. The colours of the belt guides
on the child safety seat follow the same colour

REMOVAL:
1. Rotate the SICT 26 all the way back in a clockwise
direction.
You can also use the BABY-SAFE i-SIZE in combination with the BABY-SAFE i-SIZE BASE/
FLEX BASE (available as an accessory) as an i-Size approved product. The bases make it
easier to fit the seat in and remove it from your vehicle safely. The BABY-SAFE i-SIZE FLEX
BASE also makes it possible to adjust the angle of the infant carrier.

Removing and cleaning the harness buckle
1. Tip the infant carrier backwards.

liquid for at least an hour. Rinse and dry thoroughly.

The infant carrier has been designed, tested and certified according to the
requirements of the European Standard for Child Safety Equipment (ECE
R129/00). The seal of approval "E" (in a circle) and the approval number are
located on the orange approval label (sticker on the child safety seat).
DANGER! The infant carrier must not be used with any base stations
other than those listed in chapter "4. USE IN THE VEHICLE".
DANGER! This certification will be invalidated if you make any modifications to the child safety seat. Only the manufacturer is
permitted to make modifications to the child safety seat.
Unauthorised technical changes can cause the protective
function of the seat to be reduced or completely eliminated.
Do not make any technical changes to the infant carrier.
WARNING! Use the BABY-SAFE i-SIZE exclusively for securing your
child in your vehicle. It must never be used as a seat or toy

always be used and installed as described in these user instructions.

8.2 USING THE SEAT INSERT
SAFETY NOTES
Please take the time to read these instructions carefully and keep
them to hand in the designated compartment 10 in the infant carrier at all
times! The instructions must be kept with the child safety seat if the latter
is passed on to a third party.
DANGER! For the protection of your child:
• In the event of an accident with a collision speed of more than 10 km/h, the infant
carrier may be damaged without the damage becoming immediately visible. In this
case the infant carrier must be replaced. Please dispose of it properly.
• As a rule, have your infant carrier checked if it was damaged (e.g if it falls on the
ground).
• Regularly check all important parts for damage. Ensure that all mechanical parts,
in particular, are fully functional.
• Never lubricate or oil parts of the infant carrier.
• Never leave your baby unattended in the infant carrier in the vehicle.
• Always secure your baby in the infant carrier using the seat belt.
• Never leave your baby unattended in the infant carrier on raised surfaces (e.g.
changing unit, table, sofa).
• Protect the infant carrier from intensive direct sunlight (e.g. cover with a lightweight
cloth) when it is not in use. The infant carrier can get very hot in direct sunlight.
Children's skin is sensitive and could be harmed.
• The more snugly the belt fits over your child's body, the better they will be protected. Therefore, avoid putting thick clothes on your child under the belt.
• The infant carrier is not intended to hold your baby for long periods of time. The
semi-recumbent position in the infant carrier will always put a strain on your baby's
spine. Take your baby out of the infant carrier as often as possible – this includes
interrupting long car rides. Do not keep your baby in the infant carrier once it has
been removed from the car.
• Lock the backrests of the vehicle seats (for example, engage the latch on the foldable rear seat bench).
• Never try to secure a baby on your lap with the vehicle seat belt or by holding onto
them.
Use the seat insert when your baby is still very small. The foam blocks can be
removed for use with larger babies.

8.3 ADJUSTING THE HEIGHT OF THE SHOULDER STRAPS
A properly installed headrest 01 ensures optimal protection for your child in
the child seat. The headrest 01 must be adjusted so that the outlet slots for
the shoulder straps 07 are about two finger widths (25 mm) below the height
of your child's shoulders.

In the case of an emergency stop or an accident, unsecured persons or objects may
cause injury to other vehicle occupants. Please always check that...
• all heavy or sharp-edged objects in the vehicle (e.g. on the parcel shelf) are secured.
• all persons in the vehicle have their seatbelts fastened.
• the infant carrier is always secured when it is in the vehicle, even if no child is being
transported.
•T
o avoid damage, ensure that the infant carrier is not jammed in between hard
objects (car door, seat rails, etc.).
• Make sure that the bottom end of the belt does not get stuck anywhere (e.g. in
doors, escalators, etc.) as this could cause the infant carrier to fall.
•K
eep the infant carrier in a safe place when it is not in use. Do not place any heavy
objects on the seat and do not store it directly next to sources of heat or in direct
sunlight.
CAUTION! To protect your vehicle:
• Certain car seat covers made from more sensitive materials (e.g. velour, leather,
etc.) may sustain signs of wear and tear when using child safety seats. For optimum
protection of your car seat covers, we recommend using the BRITAX RÖMER car
seat protector from our range of accessories.

You can engage the handle 04 in three positions: A, B and C:

To adjust the handle:
1. Press and hold both buttons 02 on the handle 04
at the same time.
2. Pivot the handle 04 with the buttons pressed 02
until it is in the desired position.
3. Release the buttons 02 and make sure that the
handle 04 is engaged properly.
DANGER! An airbag hitting the infant carrier can cause serious injuries
to your baby, possibly resulting in death.
Do not use the infant carrier on passenger seats with activated front airbags!
For seats with side airbags, please observe the instructions in your owner's
manual.

FITTING THE SUNSHADE
1. Hook the cover loops 15 , on the right and left of
the handle, into the sunshade hooks 14 .
2. Pull the elastic seam over the head end of the infant
carrier. Secure the elastic seam at the side with the
fasteners.
WARNING! This Travel System is not suitable...

buggies must only be used to transport babies or children.
WARNING! Always strap your baby into the infant carrier and ensure that
the infant carrier is securely fastened to the pushchair. Never lift or push the
pushchair by the infant carrier. Always apply the brake before fitting the infant
carrier onto the pushchair or removing it.

6. Place the lap belt section 17 in the belt guides 03
on both sides of the infant carrier. Make sure that
you do not twist the lap belt section 17 .
7. Tighten the lap belt section 17 by pulling on the
diagonal strap 16 .

8. Pull the diagonal strap 16 behind the head end
of the infant carrier over the adapter 13 .
9. Thread the diagonal strap 16 into the belt holder 12 .
Make sure that you do not twist the vehicle seat belt.
8.4 STRAPPING YOUR BABY IN
The sunshade 28 protects your baby's head from sunlight. It can be easily
folded up and down on the handle 04 . To remove or attach the sunshade 28 ,
proceed as follows:

1. Remove the sunshade 28 at the head end of the
infant carrier. To do this, release the fasteners at the
side and remove the elastic seam.
2. Unhook the cover loops 15 on both sides of the
handle from the sunshade hooks 14 .
Please refer to the user instructions supplied with your pushchair.
4. Pull out the vehicle seat belt and place it across
the infant carrier.
5. Engage the buckle tongue 29 in the vehicle seat
buckle 18 .

The BRITAX RÖMER BABY-SAFE i-SIZE provides your baby with optimum
safety when the shoulder straps fit as snugly as possible over the body without
constricting the baby.
To strap in your baby
1. Loosen the shoulder straps 07 (as described in
chapter 8.3 ADJUSTING THE HEIGHT OF THE
SHOULDER STRAPS).
2. Open the harness buckle 08 (press the red release
button).
3. Put the shoulder straps 07 over the shoulders of

your baby.
WARNING! Do not twist or swap the shoulder
straps, as this will invalidate the protective function.

4. Put the two buckle tongues 05 together.

5. Engage the buckle tongues 05 so that they make
an audible clicking sound.
6. Tighten the shoulder straps 07 until they fit snugly
over your baby's body (as described in chapter 8.3

WARNING! The hip belt must lie as low as
possible over your baby's groin.
10. USE WITH PUSHCHAIRS
The infant carrier can be used as a Travel System on all pushchair frames
which are approved for use with BRITAX/RÖMER infant carriers.
To tighten the shoulder straps:
Pull the strap end 09 . Make sure that you pull the strap
end 09 straight out and not upwards or downwards.
8.5 USING THE SUNSHADE

Adjusting the shoulder straps:
1. Open the harness buckle 08 (press the red release
button).
2. Open the instruction compartment 10 on the rear
side of the infant carrier.
3. Place the headrest 01 in the right position by
pressing and moving the adjustment button for the
shoulder straps 20 . (The headrest 01 must be adjusted so that the outlet slots for the shoulder straps
07 are about two finger widths (25 mm) below the
height of your child's shoulders.)
4. Make sure that the adjustment button for the shoulder straps is properly engaged 20 .
5. Close the instruction compartment 10 again.
INSTALLATION IN THE VEHICLE
Before securing the infant carrier in the vehicle, secure your baby in the infant
carrier as described in chapter 8.4 STRAPPING YOUR BABY IN.
To loosen the shoulder straps:
Press the adjustment button 21 and at the same time
pull both shoulder straps 07 forward.
DANGER! For the protection of all vehicle occupants:
WARNING! For your protection when handling the child seat:
To fit the insert:
1. Open the harness buckle 08 (press the red release
button).
2. Place the insert 19 into the infant carrier. The part
filled with the foam blocks must be facing downwards.
3. Thread the lower part of the insert underneath the
shoulder straps 07 . Make sure that the insert 19
is in contact with the backrest of the infant carrier.

10. Tighten the diagonal strap 16 .
DANGER! Make sure that the vehicle seat buckle 18
is not in the belt guide 03 under any circumstances
and is not so far forward that it is in front of the belt
guide 03 (in direction of travel). If the vehicle seat
buckle is 18 in the belt guides 03 or in front of the
belt guides 03 , place the infant carrier on a different
seat. If you have any doubts about installing the seat
correctly, please contact your dealer.
11. Unscrew the SICT 26 anti-clockwise (on the side
closer to the vehicle door) until it has a distance of
5 mm to the vehicle door or has been unscrewed
to the maximum.
The unscrewed SICT 26 provides additional protection in the event of a side impact.
Removing the infant carrier from a pushchair
1. Always apply the brake as shown in the instructions
provided with the pushchair.
2. Ensure that the handle 04 is in the upper position A
(see chapter 8.1 ADJUSTING THE HANDLE).
3. Pull and hold the grey release latch 24 .
4. Lift the infant carrier until the fixation prongs 22
release from the fixation slots 23 .

ARNING! Keep a firm grip on the infant carrier
while doing this.
5. Remove the infant carrier from the pushchair.

Fitting the infant carrier to a pushchair
1. Always apply the brake as shown in the instructions
provided with the pushchair.
2. Prepare the pushchair for the Travel System as described in the instructions for the pushchair (e.g. adjust the pushchair seat, unhook the seat cover).
3. With the infant carrier in a rearward-facing position,
lift it above the pushchair.

ARNING! Never try to attach the infant carrier
to the pushchair in a forward-facing position.
4. Engage the fixation prongs 22 of the infant carrier
into the fixation slots 23 on both sides. The control
indicators 25 on both sides of the infant carrier must
be green.
W
ARNING! Ensure that the infant carrier is securely
attached to the pushchair by pulling the handle 04
upwards.
