Cleaning

For proving chambers, the areas underneath the bottom tray also have to be cleaned (steam pan).

Sediments can form quickly in this area due to the steam process.

For stainless steel appliance which can be closed, the doors should always remain open when not in use,

if possible, to allow fresh air to reach the metal surface without problem.

The stainless steel surfaces must not come into contact with concentrated acids for prolonged periods.

The acids can destroy the passivating layer of the stainless steel.

The stainless steel surfaces must not come into contact with normal iron or steel for extended periods as

otherwise rust films can form.

Remove any external rust spots immediately with a mild abrasive agent or common (ferrite-free) household

cleaning sponges together with water. Remove any stubborn rust spots with 5% oxalic acid.

Wipe in the polishing direction for cleaning the stainless steel surfaces.

Baking paper can be placed to prevent salt deposits on the base of loading trolleys as well supporting and

intermediate racks with tray supports.

To quickly remove fingerprints on stainless steel surfaces, polish the stainless steel surface with chrome

polish and a cloth.

Use chloride-free household or window cleaner to quickly remove grease on stainless steel surfaces.

To remove stubborn, burnt-in stains, use DEBAG oven cleaner.

To be on the safe side, test your preferred cleaning agent in an inconspicuous area before

first-time use.

9.3

Informal instructions

Comply with REGULATION (EC) No. 1272/2008 and REGULATION (EC) No. 1907/2006 when carrying out

cleaning work and handling cleaning chemicals. In addition, the rules and information published by the

responsible accident insurance provider must be observed.

This operating manual and the EC safety data sheet for the oven cleaner must be stored at the installation

location of the appliance at all times. Attach the operating manual and the A4 quick start guide in an easily

visible location.
