    Overview This operating manual describes how to use the Lighthouse SOLAIR 1.0 CFM, Gen E portable particle counters, such as the SOLAIR 3100 and 5100 and the Boulder Counter. The model number (except in the case of the Boulder Counter) signifies the minimum particle size measured by the instrument.

    SOLAIR. The power switch is located on the front of the unit. Lighthouse recommends using protected power to prevent damage to the instrument by voltage spikes. Using an uninterruptible power supply when the SOLAIR is kept in a stationary location will help prevent damage to the instrument or loss of data in the event of a power outage, especially for SOLAIRS that do not have the battery option.

    Operating Counter • SAMPLE: The Sample Time (hh:mm:ss) is the duration of one counting cycle. The Sample Time will count down on the MAIN screen when the instrument is in AUTO or Manual mode so the user can see how much time is remaining in the sample period. In Concentration mode, the Sample Time will count up to 6 seconds per cycle.

Имея 6 размерных каналов, счётчик Solair может выводить результаты измерений в дифференциальной и интегральной формах на цветном сенсорном экране. Прибор может хранить до 3000 записей результатов измерений и до 50 записей настроек. Данные в любое время можно загрузить в компьютер или систему мониторинга. Кроме того, возможно сохранение результатов измерений на USB Flash, с их последующим просмотром в программном обеспечении LMS Express / LMS Express RT. Передача данных может осуществляться через Ethernet, RS 485, USB и USB Flash интерфейсы.
