HOW TO CHARGE THE CAMERA

Please charge the camera before use it for the first time

1. Unscrew the pen at the middle, revealing the mini USB port. Insert the provided USB cable into the port

and charge the camera.

2. The indicator light (5) should be solid blue while the camera is charging. Once the battery is full, the

indicator light will start alternating between red and blue. It usually takes about 2 hours for a full charge.

HOW TO RECORD VIDEO

1. Unscrew the pen at the middle and then insert the microSD card into

the microSD card slot, in the orientation shown in the image on the

right. Make sure the indicator light is facing you.

2. Press and hold the On/Off button (1) at the top of the pen, until the

blue indicator turns on. The blue indicator light will flash two times and then turn off, as the pen starts

recording automatically. The blue indicator light will remain off while the camera is recording.

3. To stop recording, press one time on the On/Off button (1) at the top of the pen. The indicator light will

turn on and remain solid blue, as the camera is switched into the standby mode.

4. To start recording again from the standby mode, press one time on the On/Off button (1) at the top of the

pen.

Notice:

▪ When the camera is in the standby mode, if no operations are performed within 2 minutes, the camera

shuts down automatically.

HOW TO CHARGE THE CAMERA
Please charge the camera before use it for the first time
1. Open the pen and use the provided USB cable to charge the camera
2. The indicator light (5) would be solid blue while charging. Once the battery is full, the indicator light turns
to red and blue. It usually takes about 2 hours for a full charge
HOW TO RECORD VIDEO
1. Insert the micro SD card into the micro SD card slot by the direction
shown in the right image
2. Press and hold the top function On/Off button (1) until the blue
indicator turns on. The blue indicator light will flash 2 times then the
pen starts recording automatically. The blue indicator light is off when the recording is going on
3. To stop recording, press the top button 1 time. The blue light turns on and stays solid and the camera is
turned into the standby mode. To restart the recording again, press the top button once.
Notice:
▪ When the camera is in the standby mode, if no operation is made within 30 seconds then the camera shut
down automatically
▪ If the camera is on but there is no micro SD card inserted, the red and blue lights flashes for 4 seconds at
the same time and the camera automatically goes off
▪ If the battery is low, the blue and red indicator lights flash for 3 seconds. The camera goes off and is in
protected mode. Recorded files are saved to the SD card.
HOW TO TAKE PHOTO
1. When the camera is on, press the top button one. The camera turns into the standby mode
2. Press the top button 2 times continuously. The blue indicator light flashes one each time a photo is taken
Notice:
▪ To turn the camera back to its recording mode, press the top button one. The blue indicator light flashes
two times and stay off
HOW TO TURN OFF CAMERA
Press and hold the top button until the blue indicator light flashes one and the camera would go off.
HOW TO RESET CAMERA
If for some reason there is a crash, the key function does not work or the device does not work at all, use the
provided pin and press once on the reset button (4). After reset, the device should work as usual.
HOW TO ADD RECORD TIME FOR VIDEO AND PICTURE FILES
1. Insert the micro SD card into your computer
2. Open the time.txt file on the micro SD card
3. Change the letter “N” to “Y” and save the file
